POLICY REGARDING THE PRIVACY OF YOUR FINANCIAL INFORMATION

Introduction. Intuit Inc. has formed a relationship with one of the following companies to make available to you the Paytrust payment service ("your account"):

  • If you reside in Arizona, have a mailing address in Arizona, have a principal place of business in Arizona, or are otherwise located in Arizona (an "Arizona Customer"), the Paytrust payment service will be provided by Metavante Payment Services AZ Corporation; or
  • If you are not an Arizona Customer, the Paytrust payment service will be provided by Metavante Payment Services, LLC.

Metavante Payment Services AZ Corporation and Metavante Payment Services, LLC are referred to as "we", "us", and "our".

This policy is intended to describe how we collect, maintain, and disclose information that you provide to us or that we obtain about you. We may amend this policy from time to time after we provide you with any notice that is required by law. If we make material changes to any of our privacy policies or practices regarding personal information we will update our statement and post a notice on our Paytrust Web site 30 days before they take effect.

What we collect. For the purpose of providing the Paytrust service, we collect personal information about you from the following sources:
  • Information we receive from you on applications or other forms; and
  • Information about your transactions with us, our affiliates, or others.
What we disclose. As required by law and as part of our contractual obligation with Intuit, we are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information. We do not disclose any personal information about you to anyone, other than to Intuit Inc., except in limited circumstances where we believe in good faith that disclosure is required under the law. For example, we may be required to disclose personal information to cooperate with regulators or law enforcement authorities, to comply with a legal process such as a court order, subpoena, search warrant, or a law enforcement request, or to resolve a payment dispute. However, we do not disclose any personal information about you to any retailers or marketers. Any use by Intuit Inc. of any personal information about you is governed by the privacy policy of Paytrust.com (www.paytrust.com/privacy).

Closed or inactive accounts. If you decide to close your account or become an inactive customer, we will continue to adhere to this policy.

Confidentiality and security. We restrict access to your personal and account information to those employees who need to know that information to provide the Paytrust service to you. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards to guard your personal information.
